BOBBY FULLER

American Trip Leader

Before vanlife had a #, Bobby moved into a van with his lab, Donovan, and headed West. From this, his love for traveling, outdoor adventures, and sharing that with others took off. Bobby has visited all 50 states and 17 countries, has climbed all of Colorado’s 14ers and is working on completing the rest of the Colorado Centennials. He’s also rowed on rafting expeditions in the Grand Canyon, Gates of Lodore, Desolation/Gray’s Canyon. Bobby is a trip leader by nature and has guided snowmobile, rafting, ATV, and Jeep trips. He’s even guided a dog sled trip. He has certifications for Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Avalanche Level 1 and 2 (AIARE), and has training in winter wilderness survival skills, snow orientation and technical canyoneering.

Bobby first climbed Kilimanjaro in 2014. Planning that trip made it clear to him just how important having trusted, local connections can be to a trip. Friendships were made and partnerships were discussed. In 2016, Bobby volunteered as a support driver for cyclists riding from Johannesburg to Kilimanjaro. The journey took him through the breathtaking scenery of South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania. During that trip, he decided that he absolutely to find a way to share the wonder and culture of Africa with Americans. Ramblin Travel is here to help accomplish that goal. Bobby has climbed Kilimanjaro multiple times, and hopes to summit again with you in 2021!
